When Austin, Texas’ water was unclean to drink without boiling in fall 2018, the city started to give away free bottles of water. Note: this came out in December 2017, before Elon Musk started to push the hypothetical technology into the mainstream.

Building Tech, Breaking Barriers

In late 2017, I sought to tell a story with a documentary short of someone whose story is rarely told. She’s a third-year Aerospace Engineer at the University of Texas at Austin, and though nearly every step is met with resistance, she always finds a way to push through.
